Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to respond to your consultation on human rights in Wales. I must admit that I'm sure what form my response should take.

I would like to raise my concern about rights of native English speakers in Wales. The continuous Welsh language agency of the Welsh National Assembly is a divisive force within our country. The vibrant English speaking culture of many parts of Wales is simply being ignored.

A case in point is the social division and protests that are currently taking place regarding the movement of Llangennech Primary school to solely Welsh language education. The action of Carmarthenshire Council and the Welsh Assembly legislation that allows this to take place is taking away the rights of parents in this village to place their children in English medium education.

Kind regards,
